The Faculty Import loads faculty demographic information into the system and includes a home department. This does not prevent faculty from teaching outside of this department and viewing results for the courses taught in that department.
NOTES:
- Faculty members that are imported will automatically be assigned the roles of Participating Faculty and Responsible Faculty. There is no need to reload the faculty import unless changes need to be made to faculty records.
- If a faculty is found in the student import or students are found in the faculty import, the system will automatically switch their primary role to the Student /Faculty role so they may be attached as teacher or student.
Required Import Fields:

If a faculty member is accidentally flagged with "N," the system will not remove someone as a department administrator. |

| ForceInternal | Yes | Forces a record to internal authentication regardless of whether or not external authentication is setup. : Y/Yes or N/No/(empty) |
| LocalPassword | No | Pre version 3.89: The value in this field will become the user’s default local password if the school is using internal authentication. This value can be up to 35 characters in length. Post version 3.89: For added security, users will be forced to set their own password the first time they log in. |
