Are you looking for a way to set Evaluation Report option templates by survey type (Standard, Rotation, and General)? If so, this article and video will assist you with the setup. The Evaluation Report templates are very important, as they specify which report options show for each survey type. If the report options are not set the end-users will not see the full reports in the Course Evaluations Response Portal view. 


How to set up an Evaluation Report Template:
NOTE: you will need to do this for each of the three survey types (Standard, Rotation, and General)

  • go to the Report menu
  • click Evaluation Report
  • click the Manage Settings blue button
  • click Add New
  • on step 1 of 3, click the 'Select Survey Type:' drop-down menu
  • select the survey type
  • click Settings or the Next button to go to the next page in the setup
  • on step 2 of 3, select the option settings based on the survey type
  • click Save Settings or Next to go to the next page in the setup
  • on step 3 of 3, for Share Options select 'Shared Response Portal' *VERY IMPORTANT*
  • for Name, you can enter a name for the report option template
  • for Category, you can enter a category if you would like (not required)
  • click Save

How to apply the Evaluation Report template to the Course Evaluations Response Portal:
NOTE: you will need to do this for each of the three survey types (Standard, Rotation, and General)

  • go to the Survey menu
  • click Survey Site Setup
  • click the '+' to expand the Course Evaluations Response Portal Landing Page Options
  • under the Reports section you can set the report template for each survey type:
    • Standard Survey Options
    • Rotation Survey Options
    • General Survey Options
  • click Save
