During UAT, actual software users test the software to make sure it can handle required tasks in real-world scenarios, according to specifications. Key Areas: 

1. Imports-

  • Use the 'Simulation Mode' in the import process to verify data before the final data load.


  • If you have leading-zeros in your data make sure they are present prior to final import. If you needed to edit a .CSV file the leading zeros may have dropped off.

2. Survey-

  • Click on the Survey name and make sure the dates are all set correctly: Publish Deadline, Auto-Open, Auto Close, and Results Release

  • Click the 'Preview Survey' buttons on the 'Detailed Settings' of the survey to review questions and response choices

  • After the survey opens impersonate a Student to make sure the survey shows and have the correct close date shown
  • Go to the 'Display Options' of the survey and make sure that each likert questions has the the 'SI' column checked

  • After the reports open impersonate a faculty to make sure the reports show and open as expected
  • For the Survey Intelligence (SI) Report to pull in the survey make sure the following:
    • The Response Set has 'Graph Average Value of Responses' set as the Graphing Option

    • The Likert questions have the 'SI' column checked on the Display Options of the survey
