This role represents individuals who teach and take courses. The role of a Teaching Assistant is usually a graduate student at a college who acts as an instructor for an undergraduate course in his or her field. Enrolling them as a T/A will allow students to evaluate them with a set of multiple type questions on the survey like a faculty level instructor. T/As will be able to access their results the same way faculty does with restrictions available to what they are able to see.
At this time, when a T/A is imported, they will be assigned the Responsible Faculty and Participating Faculty roles in addition to the T/A role. Some schools have T/As that are responsible for courses, so this option was left in place. If the school does not use T/As on courses, then there is no need to do this import.
