Like Course Designations, Course Types are used as a way to filter information at the survey and reporting levels of Course Evaluations. The Course Type can be shared across schools. A Course Type can be any descriptor that the CE Manager needs. Examples of Course Types are required courses, elective courses, problem based learning courses (PBLs), or laboratory courses.
Course Types can also be used to tie certain questions to specific courses. This option is set up in the Question Manager or in the Display Options of the survey.
Adding/Editing Course Types
- Select 'Add New' from the list screen.
- Enter the Course Type.
- Enter the Short Name or abbreviation.
- Select if the Course Type is to be shared across schools.
- Click 'Add.'
