Information about the Internship Sites,Clinic/Hospital Rotation sites, or other locations are entered here.  The Site information can be imported using the Site Import.  Once the sites are in Course Evaluations they can be linked with courses. To link a course and site use the Course Site import.


NOTE: A teaching site is anywhere a student can go for a learning experience outside of the classroom.


Manually Adding/Editing Sites

  • Select 'Add New' from the list screen.
  • Select a Site Category from the drop-down menu.
  • Enter a Site Name.
  • Enter the Short Name.
  • Check the Status box.
    • Active Status – The teaching site is 'turned on' and is available to be used.  The status can be changed (turned off) at any time by the Course Evaluations Manager.
    • Inactive Status – The teaching site is 'turned off' and is not available to be used.  The status can be changed (turned on) at any time by the CE Manager.  Sites are deactivated when they are no longer going to be used by the school.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Remember, information cannot be deleted from the system once it's been used in surveys.  To manage unwanted data, either make it inactive or archive it.

  • Click 'Add.'

Site Category List

Site Categories are used to organize or group the different types of teaching sites.  The CE Manager may choose to utilize this option to create teaching site labels to organize the sites by type.

Manually Adding/Editing Site Categories


  • Select 'Add New' from the list screen.
  • Enter the Teaching Site Category name.
  • Enter the Short Name or abbreviation.
  • Click 'Add.'


Site List Shows Associated Faculty/Preceptors

The site list now shows the number of associated individuals as a link. When clicked the list of individuals is displayed.
