The Course List displays all of the courses associated with the filter information selected in the drop-down menus.   Only the courses listed here can be selected for assessment.  There are a number of options available in this list, including managing faculty and students attached to courses.

  • The 'Faculty' column lists the faculty that are assigned to the course.   
    • Click ' Show all Faculty' to see all of the faculty members in different roles who are assigned to the course or 'Show Responsible Faculty only' to see all of the faculty assigned as responsible faculty.
  • The Manage Faculty screen is used to select the faculty associated with a course.  
    • Managing both faculty and students is useful when the Course Evaluations Manager needs to either remove or add a small number of people without having to do another import.
  • The Manage Students count icon is used to assign students to a course.
    • The Manage Students count icon is sort-able to show courses by the number of enrolled students.
  • The Survey count icon shows a list of all the surveys the course is associated with.
    • The Survey count icon is sort-able to show courses by the number of surveys they are attached to.
    • The count is updated whenever a course is added or removed from a survey.
  • The Rotation Info icon shows a list of all the blocks and sites associated with the course.
  • The Course Merge icon selects a course to be put into the course merge 'cart.'
  • The Course Surveys button displays all of the survey information for the courses based on the page filter settings.



IMPORTANT NOTE: The course record must be complete to appear on surveys, this means faculty and students have to be assigned.


NOTES:

  • The setup MUST be completed for Programs, Departments, and Faculty before entering course information.  This information is typically populated via the imports.
  • To limit the number of courses appearing in this view, click on a number or letter, that a course begins with or click 'Show All' to view all courses.
