We would like students to help improve the quality of instruction and be involved in the development of courses and programs offered by our member campuses.  This begins with giving feedback to instructors in a constructive manner.  Course and Instructor evaluations are integral in the success of teaching and program development.  Feedback from a students' perspective is a big part of that development.  We want students to help design their education by providing feedback in a constructive and positive manner.

Tips on how to give constructive feedback:

  • Stick to the facts
    • The lecture on "Date or Topic" was hard to follow
    • Too much information was given at one time, hard to keep up
    • Difficult to understand concepts
  • Be clear
    • I had a hard time…
    • I enjoyed learning about…
  • Suggest a solution – focus on the issue, describe things, like problems in a clear way
    • It would be good if…
