Post-version 3.89 - Due to added security, Course Evaluations Managers are no longer able to reset user passwords. Users will be able to reset their password by clicking the 'Forgot username or password' on the Course Evaluations login screen.
Pre-version 3.89 - Yes, Course Evaluations allows manager users to generate a new, random password if the institution is using internal authentication.
Here are the steps for pre-version 3.89:
- Login as a manager in Course Evaluations
- Click on the Setup Menu on the top right
- Under Core Data, click either Students or Faculty/Staff, depending on who is requesting the password change
- Filter to find the individual
- Click on the individual's last name to open their record
- Select the option for 'Generate New Password'
